E-learning localization

Adapting an online course for another language and country: voice, subtitles, on-screen text and the examples that do not travel.

  • Localised voice
  • Subtitles and text
  • Review

E-learning localization: when it fits.

Translating the words is the easy part. A course also has screenshots, dates, units, names and humour. Each of them can make a version feel imported.

We localise the course as a whole and hand back files that match the original structure.

Typical uses

  • A compliance course for several countries
  • Onboarding modules for a new market
  • A product course for partners abroad
  • Updating a translated course after the source changes

What shapes the result.

  • Text expansionMany languages run longer than English. Slides and subtitles are checked for fit.
  • ExamplesNames, currencies, dates and scenarios are replaced where a local reader would stumble.
  • VoiceReal talent in the target language, with the accent your learners expect.
  • UpdatesTranslated text is stored in a way that a source change updates only what moved.

What we make

What we make.

  • Localised voice

Narration in the target language, matched to your screens.

  • Subtitles and text

Captions and on-screen text fitted to the layout.

  • Review

A native check of terms and examples before release.

What you can hold us to

Checked before it reaches your teams.

Standards we apply to every piece, and the commitments we make before you send anything.

  • Know how it’s made

We tell you whether each piece uses an AI voice or a human one.

  • Reviewed before delivery

Nothing reaches your teams until you approve it.

  • Confidential from the start

We agree confidentiality, access to materials and private delivery with you before we start.

Questions

Before you get in touch.

Do you translate the text too?

We coordinate it with your translators or ours, and keep text, subtitles and voice consistent with each other.

Which authoring tools do you support?

We deliver audio, subtitles and text in files your authoring tool can import. We do not build the course itself.

Can you review an existing translation?

Yes. A native reviewer can check an existing version for terms, tone and fit before it is recorded.

What’s your next message?

Tell us who it’s for, what you need to communicate and when you need it. We’ll come back with the approach and the scope.
